On The Grid was a monthly magazine published by General Publishing Company Inc. of 185 North Wabash, Chicago Illinois. The publisher and editor was Ed Pazdur. Larry Tomaras was chief photographer, who would later became the editor for Auto Sports magazine.
Only eight issues were published starting in June, 1960 and ending in January 1961. Content was focused on major motoring races from the US and Europe along with driver profiles. It covered Grand Prix events in Europe, and had reporters on the West Coast, Mid-West and East Coast to cover sport cars, Formula Jr and USAC events.
In early 1961 the magazine was sold. Re-titled Today’s Motorsports the first issue was February, 1961. This re-titled magazine continued until January, 1964.
